Pratyush Kumar is the co-founder of Sarvam AI. He studied Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay. He received his doctorate in Systems Engineering from ETH Zurich before joining IBM Research. He joined IIT Madras as a faculty in the Computer Science Department. He decided to do more research into the field of AI as his time working at Microsoft Research and IBM Research showed him that there was a lot of potential there and it would be a great field for research and development. He first began AI for Bharat in the IIT Madras campus and then started Sarvam AI.
