Jayant's journey began with exceptional academic performance at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (2003-2007), where he pursued his B.Tech while being actively involved in campus life as Literary Secretary, football player, and quiz enthusiast. His dedication to excellence earned him the prestigious Scholarship for Academic Excellence from the Andhra Pradesh government for all four years of his undergraduate studies.

Before founding Darwinbox, Jayant worked as a consultant at Ernst & Young across various functions including mergers and acquisitions, gaining valuable experience in corporate strategy and operations that would later prove instrumental in building his own venture.
