About Us

Bhaktha is the Founder & CEO of Chara Technologies, where he's leading India's transition to rare-earth-free motor technology for electric vehicles and industrial applications. With deep expertise in architecting, building, and deploying world-class products, he brings a unique perspective on scaling hardware innovation. Previously, Bhaktha co-founded and served as CTO of Ezetap, a pioneering mobile payment solutions company that he built from scratch through multiple funding rounds, ultimately raising $50M from global investors before being acquired by Razorpay.

His vision for Chara stems from recognizing the critical need for supply chain independence in motor technology, particularly as global rare-earth dependencies threaten the sustainability of India's EV ecosystem.
