With 18+ years of experience building organizations and developing hardware products with global impact, he brings deep expertise in power electronics, motor control algorithms, and embedded systems.

As CTO at Chara, Mahalingam's contributions span the entire technology stack—from developing core motor control IP and setting the technology roadmap to building world-class R&D infrastructure and scaling manufacturing operations. He has led the development of 6 distinct motor products and oversees the technical teams responsible for mechanical design, firmware, software, and mobile applications. His innovative work has resulted in over a dozen worldwide patents filed by Chara.
