About Us

KisanRaja is a pioneering agri-tech venture that transforms irrigation management for Indian farmers through IoT and mobile technology. The core product—a remote motor controller—enables farmers to switch irrigation pumps on or off using their mobile phones or landlines, eliminating the need to travel long distances or operate pumps at odd hours due to erratic power supply. The system supports manual, automatic, and timer modes, and provides real-time alerts on power status, voltage fluctuations, dry runs, and potential theft, all via SMS, ensuring both convenience and equipment safety.

KisanRaja integrates advanced features such as wireless soil moisture sensors, weather data analytics, and cloud connectivity to automate irrigation decisions and optimize water usage. The solution has helped farmers save substantial amounts of water and electricity, with documented reductions of up to 25% in water use in World Bank–funded pilot projects. By leveraging partnerships with technology leaders like Cisco and Texas Instruments, KisanRaja has developed scalable, robust solutions tailored to the needs of rural India and has created jobs for rural entrepreneurs who support sales and after-sales service.
